A Wisconsin Summer Camp for children

FUN is how we choose to live! Forget about summer boredom, Because there is fun in everything we do, you’ll be smiling no matter what the activity is! From swimming, jumping on our water trampoline, shooting at archery, boating, fishing, singing, crazy craft making, or playing with animals - you’ll have a blast. Who knows, maybe you’ll even discover a new talent or passion at our Wisconsin summer camp!

FRIENDSHIPS are true and lasting! Because our camp family is filled with kindness and caring towards everyone, you will make new friends easily! From day one you’ll have an entire cabin of new friends. Your counselors will be a understanding, and unbelievably crazy and energetic. Campers find that SNC is a place where you can be yourself. ADVENTURE TRIPS await you! Whether you are a novice or an expert, you’ll find that camping trips will be some of your fondest memories! SNC’s awesome counselors are there to help you every step of the way while you canoe down scenic rivers, hike through forests, and even take bike trips. We can’t wait to explore the world with you. Camping under millions of stars, singing songs around a fire, and jumping into waterfalls are just more of the fun you will have at SNC.

NATURE is bursting with life! At SNC, there are islands that need exploring, frogs that need catching, and ice cream to taste made from wild berries picked by you! Our Nature Center is filled with amazing animals to learn about and play with! Whether you’re a nature nut or someone a little nervous about the woods, we’ll help you find the best sunsets, spot highflying eagles, and discover what makes our planet worth protecting!

Camper Information

There are many ways to get your child from home to SNC. Some arrive by car, motor coach or plane from all over the world. Please be sure to make your travel plans early and inform us of your child's schedule.
If you are coming for a visit, that's great! SNC has no scheduled visitation days, you can come anytine, we just ask that you let your child have at least a 5 day adjustment time before you stop by. Summers in the Northwoods are a busy vacation time of year so it is never too soon to start making plans.

Driving Information
Most folks these days have a GPS and it will lead you right into camp, but for you retro folks, please follow these directions. Please watch out for deer !

From Chicago, Il. and Points South, follow your map north on I 90 through Rockford and Madison. In Eau Claire continue Northbound on to US-53 N. Once on US -53 continue North about 2 hours till you see Minong Wi. the crossroad is Hwy 77. When leaving US-53 go left to go directly to SNC or take a right to see the Town of Minong. When heading west on 77 at approximately one mile turn right onto Hwy I. Follow the winding Hwy I for approx. 3.3 miles. At Smith Bridge Rd make a right, Northbound. (not left) When you first turn onto Smith Bridge do not go straight but veer left. Continue north on Smith Bridge, approx. 2.7 mile, watch to your left for East Flowage Rd. (this turns into Ernie Swift Rd.). Camp is on the left, down the road a piece just after a large knoll. At every intersection signs are posted showing the direction to Swift Nature Camp. The address is W7471 Ernie Swift Road. Time from Chicago is a little under 7hrs.

From Minneapolis, MN and Points West: Take I-35 N to Hinkley Mn, exit 183. Head east out of town. Once on MN 48 /Wi 77 for about 23 miles to Danbury Wi. In Danbury stay on Wi-77, it turns left at a dead end and then right, watch the signs. Conitue till you see Hwy I on the left, it's approximately 25 miles. If you see Hwy 53 you have gone too far, turnaround. Follow the winding Hwy I for approx. 3.3 miles. At Smith Bridge Rd make a right, Northbound. Air Travel Information
If you are flying to camp you have 2 airport options: Duluth Mn. about 1 hr away from camp or Minneapolis MN. about 3 hrs away. SNC ONLY picks up campers from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport so please make all your arrangements though MSP Airport. We will send a camp representative who will pick up your camper at the gate and transport them back to camp. We only travel to the airport on the start and end days of camp and like flight time to be between 10am and 3pm. Please notify SNC once you have made your flight arrangements or if not sure about details give us a call. We do charge an additional travel/pickup fee of $100 per child.

Chartered Bus Information
Swift Nature Camp charters a Motor Coach the starting and ending days of camp that goes to and from the Chicagoland area, stops include Darien, Schaumburg, Rockford & Madison. The motor coach can be reserved one way or both ways and this can be done with the online application options. Campers may bring two pieces of baggage and a carry-on bag.
