Camp Description

Swift Nature Camp is a traditional co-ed childrens summer camp that specializes in environmental education. Additional camp activities include boating, archery, campcraft, arts and crafts, riflery and sports. Counselors are responsible for teaching camp activities and supervising daily living skills. Counselors must ensure both physical and mental saftey for each camper.

Candidates must:

  • Have a true ability and desire to work with children
  • Integrate and communicate positively and effectively with campers and staff
  • Accept responsibility for others and easily take direction from staff
  • Take initiative and serve as a role model to campers
  • Be patient, friendly, cooperative, enthusiastic, and approachable
